Wow there was a lot of
tension in that room. When Gatsby reached for Daisey’s hand everything went downhill
from there. Gatsby knew Daisey loved him but she just needed a little push in
the right direction. He needed her to commit to him. When we go to the hotel you
could cut the awkwardness with a knife. And when Tom brought up Gatsby’s “past”
everyone knew what he was doing and no one agreed with it.
